I’ve been working with The Nth Degree Club and their founder Robert Walton MBE since summer 2018 and I was delighted in February this year when they asked me to handle their PR & Marketing activities for their Restaurant Association Gala Dinner.

The event is an extremely prestigious event in the hospitality calendar and I was excited to set the media and social strategy for the evening which was set to include huge names in the industry.

It required a huge amount of organisation which I worked alongside The Nth Degree Club, Alpha Events and Event Exec to pull off a spectacular evening at The Savoy in the heart of London. The venue itself was so huge that I swear I did the equivalent of a marathon in Valentino Rockstuds that evening!

We welcomed 350 guests, 25 hospitality leaders, 30 sponsors and a host of VIPs and to capture the action I worked alongside two photographers – the extremely talented Paul Griffiths , Helen Abraham aka Raccoon London plus quick and efficient videographer Daniel Minh Hoang.

Our headline sponsors No.1 Botanical Soda were the heroes of the evening with a special bar serving two bespoke cocktails plus the drinks were used by the Savoy chefs to create the four course menu.

Top chefs and hospitality leaders attended including Raymond Blanc OBE, Shaun Rankin, Brian Turner CBE, Fabrice Lasnon, Richard Corrigan, Francesco Mazzei, Richard Shepherd CBE, Martyn Nail, Claude Bosi, Chris and Jeff Galvin, Neil Rankin, Ruth Hansom, Matthew Ryle, Laurence Henry, Oli Martin, Dean Banks, Ben Tish, Sophie Michell, Gizzi Erskine and André Garrett. Celebrity guests and influencers include model Lisa Snowdon, bestselling cookbook author Melissa Hemsley, YOU Magazine Editor Jo Elvin, presenter Lucy Verasamy and nutritionist Rosemary Ferguson.
