Instagrammable Places for Valentine’s Day 2023

by | Feb 7, 2023 | Blog, London, Naked Feature

Valentine’s Day in London is always a heart shaped, flower filled affair with red roses and pink petals across the capital. I love (like LOVE) when shops, florists, cafes and restaurants in London go the extra mile to make their windows extra instagrammable.

Here’s a few places you can head to if you like floral fancies like I do:

1. Neill Strain Florist

This heart shaped wonder at the entrance to the Belgravia store is SO beautiful. Standing about 7 foot high, this stunning red and pink floral archway is filled with roses and peonies framing the door. Inside, the boutique is stacked with luxury stems to make the bouquet of your dreams. They have a special Valentine’s Day collection featuring a Living Rose heart, a pastel bouquet or even 100 perfect red roses.

Find Neill Strain at 11 West Halkin Street, Belgravia, London SW1X 8JL

2. Peggy Porschen Cafe

Peggy Porschen is Instagrammable perfection with a special Valentine’s menu and decorations to match. This Instagrammable shop front has a floral arch finished off with a large golden heart above the door (we love you too Peggy)! There’s also heart shaped rose petal decorations on the windows too to match the pretty pastel tables. For the outside tables, they have blankets to keep you warm.
The special Valentine’s Menu is equally Instagrammable from the Strawberry & Marc Dee Champagne Cupcake to the “La Vie En Rose” Cake with ombre pink buttercream, 23 carat gold leaf finished off with pink raspberry macarons, fresh raspberries, meringue kisses and wafer roses.

Find Peggy Porschen 116 Ebury Street, Belgravia, London SW1W 9QQ

3. Goode Flowers

This very cute florist on Charlotte Street has beautiful pillowy heart shapes above the door with pink orchids and roses. My favourite bunch is the Cosmopolitan Bouquet with pastel roses. Charlotte Street is one of those hidden gems which has so much to offer including the super Instagrammable Italian Bear cafe with the indulgent triple chocolate dripping down the sides of the mugs.

4. Elan Cafe

Elan Cafe is an all year round Valentine’s winner. It is wall to wall (literally) hearts and flowers! Expect pink seats, marble tables, sassy sayings in neon lights and huge Instagrammable cakes. What is even better as the number of locations across London is growing every day (currently ten!) Try and go to a ‘quieter one’ where there’s less intensity for your Valentine’s pictures like my sneaky favourite, Market Place. I also love the one outside Harrods for the outdoor vibes. You can book for the Brompton Road location but all the rest (I think) are walk in! Always ask for the flower wall and ask for help from the extensive menu if you need it! Everything on the menu from Red Velvet Latte to the Raspberry Macaron is perfectly Instagrammable AND the menu has pictures to help.

5. Hedonism Wine

Hedonism Wine on Davies Street in Mayfair always pushes the boat out with their displays. Their Valentine’s Day window has a giant jigsaw outside where they encourage you to: ‘find your missing piece’. The red and white oversize pieces spill out from the windows down onto the street below.

Find Hedonism Wine, 3-7 Davies St, London W1K 3DJ

6. Fortnum & Mason

Fortnum & Mason is always guaranteed to do a cute Valentine’s Day display because it is the home of luxury sweet treats for the big day. Think heart shaped chocolates, pretty iced biscuits and even Valentine’s Tea. The highlight is a large red heart display on the first floor in the same gold floral pattern as their signature caramel chocolates.

7. Wild Things Flowers

Ok so not strictly a Valentine’s Day display but this year-round bucket of flowers is Mayfair is always worth a detour. This simple but super effective bucket of joy is an Instagram favourite and perfect for a shoefie. They mix up the flowers according to the season so you’ll always get the flowers to match your mood (and your outfit!)

8. The Ivy Chelsea Garden

A late entry for the most Instagrammable Valentine’s Day is Ivy Chelsea Garden which I can’t wait to see! Installed by Early Hours Ltd, this window has everything you’ve ever wanted for a romantic day. You’ll find loving leopards, red roses and sweet love birds.
