Zakti Activewear launched in 2015 as a sister brand to Mountain Warehouse with the aim of rivalling activewear brands at a keener price point. The range had launched with womenswear and I joined in April 2016 to help launch menswear with a kidswear range followed later that year. I was tasked to gain consumer coverage for the brand and product place with celebrities and influencers.
Zakti was quickly featured in fitness magazines with their menswear launch featuring prominently in The Times magazine. Over the next year and a half Zakti Activewear enjoyed great coverage with fashion featured in Cosmopolitan, Fabulous, Telegraph, Times, i newspaper, Daily Mail, Time Out, Heat, Reveal, Star, Metro, Drapers plus the brand secured a front cover on Outdoor Fitness magazine. 2017 saw coverage amounting to £438,024 worth of PR value with circulation of 153,018,910 for print plus online at 1,205,439,093 impressions (including Kimberly Wyatt for Zakti Activewear coverage).
